Alternative Press Awards Finalist

The Progressive Populist has been named as a finalist for the 10th annual Utne Reader Alternative Press Awards in the category of "Political and Social Issues." Other finalists, which were announced in the November/December issue of Utne Reader, include The American Prospect, Boston Review, The Nation and The Washington Monthly. Winners in 14 different categories will be announced in the January/February 1999 issue.
