I was channel flipping and came across a “Turning Points” convention, which was being covered by C-SPAN 2; it was a rebroadcast. Turning Points USA is a Republican propaganda organization founded by the late Charlie Kirk, and funded by Trump’s billionaire friends, who hate democracy and virtues such as honesty.
The featured speaker was none other than Megyn Kelly, whose presentation concentrated on her disdain for former President Obama. She blames him for all of the problems under the shining sun.
Do all of you readers remember Megyn Kelly? She was a Fox News cable host who was a moderator at a Republican primary debate in 2015, which was televised. In my opinion, Kelly performed quite well, as she asked pointed questions, especially of Donald Trump, who fumbled his answers.
Angry because of his pathetic appearance, Trump called a press conference the next day and acted like a lunatic. He contorted his face and said of Kelly “There was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever” when she was questioning him. That was supposed to be a suggestion that Kelly was in her menstrual cycle. Such obnoxious behavior by Trump actually helped him with Republicans.
Kelly’s career went south; she parted ways with Fox and discovered she could not make an honest living. Now Kelly has a podcast and such other social media nonsense. She is desperate to appeal to the MAGA crazies, so she has put her head up Trump’s “You know what.”
