Raise Hell Everywhere

This is intolerable. This regime, MAGA, DOGE, or whatever comical acronym it goes by. is illegitimate. Trump and Vance have forfeited their standing through their routine criminality, and Musk never had any legal credibility. Congress and the Supreme Court, under the Republican trance, repeatedly fail to check the power of the Executive branch. We must not go quietly and acquiesce.

Nor must we be pawns in their game, or peons in their social order.  We are the true Americans, because we love democracy. They are the outliers; in fact, they are out-and-out liars. They have no business being in government, because government is not a business — nor can it be run as one, or by one. It is a republic, and we intend to keep it.

They want us to sell out each other, but we are not property, not a commodity, and we are not for sale or purchase.

They want us to submit to their authority, but their authority is worthless. Trump’s executive orders are not law; no one is bound to obey. Certainly, if he need not obey a court order, why should we obey his piddling imperial twaddle?

They want us to comply, yet Federal workers can be fired now for any reason or no reason at all; and by the same discretion, any of us may be imprisoned, deported, or even tortured. So what difference would it make to our well-being whether we comply or not? We have nothing to lose and everything to fight for. Do not comply.

Instead, we must band together for persistent resistance. Passive resistance is good; so is active resistance, when it’s feasible. Speak up louder when they tell us to shut up. Raise hell everywhere. Make them waste all their time and resources trying to keep us under control; we will not be controlled. Their unreasonable actions must be confronted with unreasonable actions of our own. 

That is how tyranny can be extirpated.
